University Tuition Scholarship for
Underrepresented Students

General Information

Students who bring diversity to the BGSU campus community will be considered for an award of $3,500.

Application Deadline

To ensure consideration the priority deadline to submit this application is June 30, 2013.

Minimum Criteria

  1. Academic Qualifications include:
    • 3.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average on a 4.0 scale
    • 20 ACT Composite or 900 SAT Critical Reading and Math Scores
  2. Demonstrate financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form (FAFSA). File by June 30, 2013.

Additional Criteria to be Considered:

  1. Race/Ethnicity
  2. Location of High School Attended
  3. State
  4. Ohio County of Residence
  5. Commitment to Diversity and/or Alternative Measures of Academic Achievement
  6. Required Essay

How to apply

  1. Apply online for Fall Semester admission to BGSU. (Transfer Students are not eligible for this scholarship).

  2. Apply online for the University Tuition Scholarship for Underrepresented Students and complete the required essay by June 30, 2013.
