In the 2010 edition of U.S.News & World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges”, BGSU 11th in the nation for its strong commitment to teaching undergraduate students. This new honor follows several consecutive years of being cited for outstanding first-year programs and residential living/learning communities.
BGSU puts an emphasis on safety and security. Bowling Green State University’s Campus Security report includes crime statistics and prevention information to assist students in making decisions which affect their personal safety. We also offer the AlertBG Text Message Service, the Campus Escort Service, 27 full-time campus police officers, in addition to many other public safety services.
