When you check in at the Wolfe Center you will receive a program with a detailed listing of the day’s events, including times and locations for all activities and a campus map. The day’s agenda will include:
Display Area. Representatives from college offices and more than 40 student service areas on campus, including admissions, financial aid and housing, will be available to answer your questions.
First Year Programs. The first year is a time of new opportunities and transitions. This presentation will explore the University’s first year programs designed to help ease incoming freshmen into college life.
Residence Life Information Session. The Office of Residence Life will describe what it’s like to live on campus.
Academic Department Open Houses. All academic departments will be open for your visit; some will have special tours and presentations throughout the day including some learning communities.
Residence Hall Open Houses. Many BGSU residence halls will be open throughout the day for your visit. This is an excellent opportunity to preview the halls.
Campus Tours. A 45-minute walking tour of the campus is available (residence halls are not included on this tour). Note: If you have already visited campus and taken the Office of Admissions campus tour, this activity will be repetitive.
University Honors Program. Faculty, staff and students will discuss this academic enrichment program.
Financial Aid Information. Staff from Student Financial Aid will provide information on financing a BGSU education.
Classroom Visits. A complete listing of classes you may visit throughout the day will be provided for you at check-in.
