Essay Information

Write a 450-500 word essay on one of the topics below. The essay should be descriptive and well organized. All students who are applying for only the AIMS Standard must write a response to only the first essay. For students who may be interested in applying for the BOSEF scholarship should respond to both essays.

If applying for the AIMS Standard Scholarship:
How can an education in science, technology, engineering and/or math impact the economy of the future? Include discussion on your planned major and the difference you hope to make.
If applying for the BOSEF Scholarship:
Discuss the importance of education in the development of alternative and sustainable energy fields. Include a description of how you see (hope) an alternative energy-focused education could help you achieve your career goals. Include discussion on your planned major and the difference you hope to make.
