Freshman Undergraduate

You are currently enrolled in high school, a post-secondary program, or are starting college for the first time.

Transfer Undergraduate

You have attempted 12 or more hours of college level coursework since you graduated from high school or earned your GED.

International Undergraduate

You are currently in or will enter the United States with an F-1 (student) or J (exchange visitor) visa for the sole purpose of pursuing a full course of study. You are neither a permanent resident or citizen of the United States.

Nontraditional Undergraduate

You are a student 25 years old or older or a student with a significant break in your education. You may be either a transfer or a first-year student.

Graduate Student

You already have a bachelor’s degree and are interested in obtaining a master’s degree, doctorate, or graduate certificate.

Guest Student

You want to take courses at BGSU but do not want to apply for admission. Guest students must have graduated from high school or hold a GED.

Advanced High School Programs

You are currently enrolled in high school and wish to take classes at BGSU at the same time.
